PNG to PDF

Turn PNG images and screenshots into one PDF.

  • This tool has no upload step

Choose PNG, JPG or WebP images

or drop them here

How it works

  1. Add your PNG images or screenshots.
  2. Drag them into order, then choose the page size and whether each image fits or fills the page.
  3. Export the PDF.

Screenshots into a PDF that reads well

Most PNGs that end up in a PDF are screenshots, and screenshots have their own habits: odd shapes, status bars and a lot of empty space.

Crop the screenshots first

Cut away the status bar, the keyboard and the empty space. The PDF page then holds the part anyone needs to read, at a larger size.

Use match the image for phone screenshots

A tall phone screenshot on an A4 page is a thin strip in the middle. Match the image makes each page the shape of its screenshot, which reads far better on a screen.

Put them in the order they happened

For evidence of a conversation or a booking, drag the pages into time order before exporting. A support team reads them top to bottom.

Check small text at full zoom

Open the finished PDF and zoom into the smallest text. If it has softened too much, send the original PNGs as well.

Where this is the wrong tool. PNG, JPG and WebP inputs are decoded in their displayed orientation and re-encoded as PNG before PDF export. Transparent areas stay transparent; the PDF may be larger than the original.

Questions

Do my PNGs get uploaded?

No. The PDF is assembled in your browser.

Will my PNG lose quality?

JPG, PNG and WebP images are decoded in their displayed orientation and re-encoded as PNG for the PDF. This preserves transparency and avoids a further lossy JPEG conversion, but can produce larger files.

Can I mix PNG and JPG images?

Yes. Add PNG, JPG or WebP images together, then drag them into the order you want. Each image becomes a page in the exported PDF.

What page size do I get?

A4 by default, or Letter, or match the image, which makes each page exactly the shape of its picture. Match the image suits tall phone screenshots.

Is there a limit on how many images?

No enforced limit. Your device's memory is the real one, and a few hundred screenshots will tire a browser tab before this page objects.
