Sign-in and checkout

When you sign in, our API at https://ocr.scanmydocz.com uses an HTTP-only session cookie. It keeps you signed in and is not readable by this page's JavaScript. If you choose a paid plan, checkout uses Paddle, which may set its own cookies. You can use the document tools without signing in.

Local browser storage

The site uses local storage for the email displayed in the signed-in header, a plan display note and a daily-use counter for limited tools. These values stay in your browser; clearing site data removes them. When you open an official form from the form library, session storage temporarily passes that PDF to the editor and removes the transfer copy after it is opened. We do not use this storage for analytics or ad tracking.

Advertising

This site includes Google AdSense code. If ads are served, Google may use cookies or similar storage according to your region and choices. Where a consent message appears, use its options to manage consent. You can also read Google's cookie information and use My Ad Center or your browser's site-data controls. Advertising requests do not include the document files you select in a tool.

Your documents

Browser-only tools process selected files on your device. Server tools upload files to our processing API and follow the retention period shown on their pages. See Privacy for the tool-by-tool list.
