How it works
- Add an Excel file.
- Convert it. The file is sent to our servers and read there.
- Download the result.
Making a spreadsheet readable on paper
A spreadsheet has no pages until something decides where to cut it, which is where most bad spreadsheet PDFs come from.
Set the print area before you convert
Without one, an empty column two hundred cells to the right becomes several blank pages.
Decide on portrait or landscape in the sheet
Wide tables need landscape, and choosing it in the spreadsheet gives a better result than scaling afterwards.
Repeat the header row
A multi page table with headings only on page one is hard to read by page three.
Check the last page
Trailing pages of nothing are the clearest sign the print area was never set.
Where this is the wrong tool. This uploads. The file is sent over an encrypted connection, converted on our servers and deleted after 24 hours. Formulas become their results: the PDF holds the numbers, not the calculations behind them.

Questions
Why is my sheet split across pages oddly?
Because that is the print area the workbook itself defines. Set the print area and page breaks in Excel first and the PDF will follow them.
Do all the sheets convert?
Yes, every sheet in the workbook, in order.
Is my file uploaded?
Yes, and deleted afterwards.
Are formulas kept?
No, and they cannot be: a PDF holds the results, not the formulas that produced them.
