Each page becomes a slide, with the text placed where it appeared, which is close to the original but is not the original file.
Text comes back as boxes, not as the template
The words are editable. The master slide, the theme and the animations were never in the PDF to recover.
Check fonts before you present
A font that was embedded in the PDF may not be installed where you open the result, and substitution moves text.
Images are recovered at the resolution the PDF held
If the deck was exported small, the pictures are small. Nothing can add detail that was discarded.
Ask for the original if a rebuild is what you need
Converting is for changing a slide. Rebuilding a deck properly starts from the source file.
Where this is the wrong tool. This uploads. The file is sent over an encrypted connection, converted on our servers and deleted after 24 hours. Animations, transitions, speaker notes and the slide master are not in a PDF and cannot be brought back.

What comes back?
One slide per page, with the text as editable frames. Layouts, masters and animations are not in the PDF and cannot be recovered, so what you get is the look rather than the deck.
Can I edit the text?
Yes. It arrives as text boxes rather than title and body placeholders, so it edits but it will not reflow the way a deck built in PowerPoint does.
Is my file uploaded?
Yes, and deleted afterwards.
Images look soft.
They are the resolution the PDF stored, which is usually lower than the original. Nothing can recover detail that was thrown away when the PDF was made.
