Why there is no contact form

A fair question for a site that asks to be trusted. Every page here ships a security policy that forbids form submission outright, to any address, including our own. That rule exists so that not even a bug in our code could post your document anywhere. A contact form would mean relaxing it on at least one page, and the rule is worth more than the form. So the channel is email, which your own mail app sends, on your terms.

If something broke

Three things make a problem fixable rather than mysterious: which tool you were using, which browser and device, and what you did against what actually happened. An error message word for word, or a screenshot of the page, helps more than a summary of it.

Please do not attach the document you were working on, and never attach a photograph of an identity card. We do not need the file to fix the problem: a screenshot with the sensitive part covered, plus a rough description of the file, how many pages and roughly how large, tells us what we need. This site is built so that we never receive your documents, and that should not change in the bug report.

One thing worth knowing before you write: nothing you process here ever reaches us, so if a browser tab crashed mid-export, we have no copy to recover the work from. Keep your original file, and it costs you nothing more than a retry.

Questions about your data

Same address. The short version is on the privacy page: your documents are never sent to us, the web server keeps ordinary access logs for a fortnight, and the cookies that come with advertising belong to Google and are described on the cookies page. If you ask us what we hold about you, the honest answer will usually be nothing, and we will say so in those words rather than in a form letter.

What we do not have
